Mealworm Feeders
This high quality feeder is
designed for feeding mealworms. By
placing the food inside of the two plexiglass sides you can keep the
food dry and get a good like at your birds.
Mealworm feeders are most
often used to feed bluebirds, but other birds such as chickadees,
finches, goldfinches, juncos,
nuthatches, sparrows, tanagers, titmice, warblers, woodpeckers, and
wrens will also use it.
You can also use this feeder
to feed other things to your birds
such as berries, fruit, cracked corn, sunflower seed, etc.
This feeder
has a
number of advantages:
Made out of high quality poly
lumber. Poly lumber is made from
recycled plastics such as milk jugs. Unlike cheaper quality woods, it
will not fade, crack, split, chip, or rot.

lifting the hinged roof panel.
1.5" entrance holes in ends
exclude large birds like starlings and blackbirds, but let in the small
birds that you want.
Poly lumber is easy to clean:
either wipe or spray it off. Also,
one panel of plexiglass is removable making it easy to clean inside.
Screws and hanger are
stainless steel and will not rust.
Hinges are made out of solid
brass and will not rust.
Has a vinyl J-channel
stopper that keeps the mealworms from climbing out.
